    Abstract
    Welcome to Tharaka University College 2nd Annual International E- Research Conference. This is a Virtual Conference which has been necessitated by the COVID 19 Situation in the country. I am therefore delighted to welcome you to read this Book of Abstracts. The theme of the conference is - “The Role of Science, Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Sustainable Development" The theme of the conference is appropriate and is anchored on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Kenya Government’s Big Four Agenda. I thank the participants for choosing to be part of the 2nd Tharaka University College International Conference. I convey my gratitude to you and appreciate you for choosing to share your scientific and academic experiences. It is my desire that the conferences will provide moments to network, build collaborative synergies, linkages, and partnerships that will continue on. I would like to encourage all the participants of the Conference both local and international to share their knowledge and learn from each other. I wish to acknowledge and appreciate support received from the Principal, Tharaka University College. I appreciate the great support by all members of staff who have worked tirelessly to ensure that our 2nd Annual Research Conference become a success. May I further appreciate fellow Conference Committee members, upon whose collective effort contributed to the success of the conference. Thank you.
